What Makes Conant Elementary Special
Conant Elementary School is a vibrant, welcoming community where academic excellence and the social-emotional growth of students go hand in hand. Housed in a thoughtfully designed 1971 facility, classrooms are arranged in collaborative “pod” clusters that encourage cooperative learning, creativity, and critical thinking. Our instructional approach integrates language arts, technology, and thematic units to engage the whole child, while our core values—Caring, Community, Curiosity, Cooperation, and Can-Do Mindset—guide daily interactions and foster a growth mindset.

With a richly diverse student body representing over 20 languages, Conant celebrates cultural sharing and inclusivity at every grade level. Students participate in community events, All School Meetings, and service-learning projects, building a strong sense of belonging. Beyond the classroom, families play an active role through volunteering, PTO involvement, and partnership programs, including Before and After School Care offered through Community Education. At Conant, every student is encouraged to learn, explore, and thrive in a supportive, dynamic environment.
